ANCHOR: A British plastic surgeons association says that male liposuction operations have grown 18 percent since last year in Britain. Our story follows actor/dancer Luke Hunderson who decides to visit a cosmetic surgeon in London. SCRIPT: Luke Henderson likes to look good - the 28 year-old actor and dancer knows appearances count. He's not overweight but recently turned down a part in a top musical because he felt fat. [Luke Henderson, Actor and Dancer]: "I didn't feel comfortable within myself of how I looked on stage. I've looked into having liposuction. I think in today's society it's quite important if you want to be successful in entertainment or musicals, you have to look good. Because, it's that old thing, you know, who wants to see a fat dancer." Liposuction is now the second most popular procedure for men after the nose job. But it's not cheap. Liposuction will set you back around six thousand pounds or just under twelve thousand dollars. That hasn't put Luke off. He's come to The West London Clinic to see consultant surgeon Shailesh Vadodaria. [Shailesh Vadodaria, Plastic Surgeon Consultant]: "How can I help you today." [Luke Henderson, Actor and Dancer]: "I would like, not to lose the weight because I wouldn't say I'm fat. I've gone from about a 30 up to about a 34 waist but I have, not on my arms, I'm quite happy with my, you know, facially, you know, it's not fat or anything , it's literally around my midriff and the top of my thighs, that I've put weight on_b_..._/b_
