In this video, I talk about my gradual transition from male to female. I talk about the immediate aftermath of the closet brake-in and my brief run-away experience and comeback. After that traumatic and emotionally draining experience, I drew up a conservative transition plan for myself. I began to grow out my hair. I stopped getting short hair cuts. After my cousin's wedding in Mexico in June of 2005, I also stopped growing out my moustache and beard. I groomed myself in the feminine manner from that point on. I researched the internet for trans stories that gave me an idea of what transition could be for me. I talked to fellow trans women about transition. I got a diagnosis from a psychologist, a carry-on letter for the police, and my permission to commence HRT. I also talk briefly about my laser hair removal on my face, chest, and abdominal area. I paid $700 for my face and $1800 for my chest and abs at a place called Neoskin. It was a very good investment in my transition and a boost in my body image. I was excited about finally getting things done in my transition after so much hesitation and fears.
